After suffering lower back and severe leg pain that prevented my normal daily routine I asked my GP to refer me to Mr Khan after having had experience of his excellent care as he had operated on my son’s back six months previously. Mr Khan was very approachable and understood exactly what I was trying to explain about my condition. His diagnosis was explained very simply and he then went through my options with both the risks and benefits of each explained. His descriptions of the procedures were clearly explained and easily understood. I chose to have a micro disectomy. The care and speed with which Mr Khan, Jane his secretary and the Leeds Nufffield carried out the pre-op and procedure was greatly appreciated. Within hours of leaving the operating theatre I was walking normally. By the next day I was out walking with the dog. I can’t thank Mr Khan and his team enough for their kindness, understanding and help to regain my former lifestyle

I have seen Mr Khan a couple of times for consultations at Nuffield, Leeds. I have found him to be an extremely optimistic, caring and genuine person. I felt entirely comfortable in his presence and nothing was too much trouble for him. I would highly recommend him and would like to take this opportunity once again to thank him for his help.

I true credit to his profession , Mr Khan is a true gent and as one of his team today said a genius too, something we totally agree on. Happy to talk about his young family and his life. We are greatly appreciative of the team at LGI and wouldn't hesitate ever to put Olivers " life in their hands" again ...obviously not something we want to do though ! The NHS is awesome and Mr Khan is too

I would like to thank Dr Khan for the treatment of my idiopathic scoliosis and for performing my spinal fusion and thoracotamy at the LGI in February 2017. A sympathetic surgeon who takes the time to listen to your worries and makes you feel at ease. A massive thank you for giving me a better quality of life. At nearly 10 weeks post op, I can already feel and see the difference. Dr Khan has been great pre op and post op, addressing all questions asked and taking the time to go through the risks and benefits of surgery. My post op x rays last week showed a big difference and I am very pleased with the result of the surgery. I have no regrets and am grateful for the management of my condition by this surgeon. All in all a very kind, understanding and very competent surgeon in his field. Thank you Dr Khan and his team at LGI.
